Maureen FitzSimons's early accomplishments in the performing arts, that is now known as Maureen O'Hara, would certainly qualify her to her place in the "child prodigy" category. A child of Irish heritage, and surrounded as she was by gifted parents and family was naturally gifted, it came as a natural. Maureen entered into this nurturing house on August 17th, 20 in Ranelagh. When she was in her 14th year she enrolled in an organization called the Abbey Theater to follow her aspirations and pursue studies in the classical theater and operatic singing.
