Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. Her birth date was 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox studied flute, piano and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 70s. Lennox was able to live by surviving on a student stipend, as she worked part-time. Lennox was of the opinion that her talents weren't as good as those of the Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other paths she could take. Lennox started out as a flute-player in the band Dragons Playground. She quit the group before they appeared in I.T.V's talent program New Faces. She was the main voice for The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to the year 1980. It was during this time that she met Dave Stewart with whom she would form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo first album Diva. The album was released in 1993. It was a huge success both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs six-album solo, released in October 2014 included Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. The C.D. comprises Lennox's favourite blues, jazz, and soul songs of her youth. Additionally, in May 2019, Lennox has released Lepidoptera an album comprising four tracks improvised by piano. The E.P. Her first album"Now I'm Letting You go... It is the soundtrack to her exhibit of artwork in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on the 25th of December. She is a social activist, philanthropist, and singer. The latter part of the 70s was when she gained a little fame when the lead singer the group known as The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international fame in the 1980s when they formed Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo career in 1992 with the release of Diva that featured several hit songs like Why as well as walking on Broken Glass. Medusa is her album of studio work from 1995. It features cover versions of such songs as"No MoreI love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale. Six solo studio albums, plus one compilation album at her disposal.
